Thai foot massage is an ancient treatment taking its roots from massage practised in China, Korea, Japan, India and Burma. The agricultural population working the land found their muscles being tight and sore at the end of the day. They practised Thai massage and traditionally taught and passed on this art to their children.

Thai Foot Massage is a relaxing one hour treatment for the lower legs and feet. It involves stretching and massage, along with the use of a Thai Stick to stimulate the reflex points on the feet that correspond with the different parts of the body.

The treatment begins with an Aromatic Foot Soak to warm and cleanse the feet, and to promote relaxation and wellbeing. The treatment takes place on the massage couch with you lying or sitting, whichever is most comfortable. Wearing trousers that can readily and comfortably rolled above the knee is optimal for this treatment. A relaxing foot balm is used for the treatment and products for home use are recommended and blended as appropriate.

Thai Foot Massage can be helpful and beneficial for the following:

  • Stress and Anxiety – Promotes Relaxation
  • Muscular Aches & Pains
  • Poor Circulation
  • Poor Flexibility

A Thai Foot Massage increases the blood and lymph flow to the lower legs, and promotes a feeling of well being, balancing the body and mind.
